Micromax’s Canvas HD set for Valentine’s Day release
Micromax’s new smartphone — A116 Canvas HD will now be launched on 14 February, according to the company’s official website.
Micromax is clearly hoping that with Valentine’s Day as the release date the smartphone can get some early boost to its sales figures. And frankly speaking with a Rs 15,000 price tag it might not be a bad option for some to consider.
The smartphone runs Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, the company’s first quad-core processor smartphone.

Key features of the device include:
• A 5-inch HD IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels.

• It has an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 4X zoom.
• It has internal storage of 4 GB, which is expandable to 32GB via microSD. The device also has 1GB RAM.
