Apple to Launch 24 New iPads

Report: Apple to Launch 24 New iPads on October 23

With rumors of iPad mini reaching fever pitch, Apple finally revealed yesterday plans to hold a media event next Tuesday, October 23. However, it seems Apple might be unveiling more than one iPad next week. The lasted scuttlebutt has the company releasing 24.
According to AppleInsider, Apple plans to release 12 iPads, each in two colors (likely black and white), next week. The site just this week got its hands on what it claims is the full list of presumed iPad mini product SKUs. It shows a total of 24 varieties spread over models labeled as P101, P103, P105 and P107. AppleInsider cites a source familar with the inventory as saying these likely represent different storage capacities (such as 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB). Products are also labeled with "GOOD," "BETTER," and "BEST," which AI reckons could be indicative of connectivity (Wi-Fi-only, 3G, and 4G LTE models).
The current iPad is only available in three capacities, 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB. However, the iPad mini, as it's name suggests, features a small form factor, as well as a rumored smaller price tag. Who's to say it won't also feature less storage (or at least the option for less storage), too?
Aside from 24 iPads, Apple is expected to announce a new Mac mini as well as a 13-inch Retina displayMacBook. Looks like next week might be a big one for Cupertino. Stay tuned!
